Snow Avalanches

There are many falling things during your mountain climbing experience. They may include:

Snow Avalanches - they usually occur on steep slopes when snows are in bad conditions such as early in the year or just after a fresh snowfall. Beds of snow collected on rock-ledges from bad weather will fall off when a thaw comes and are consider quite dangerous for climbers.

Masses of snow are likely to fall in unexpected places, but experience mountain climbers are about to recognize signs and avoid the danger involved.
